Small bear - take 2
A little while ago I posted a felt bear pattern, here's another porject to make with the same pattern. Using the technique shown to sew the babies, you can make a bear as cute as this one. And with a video, it's even easier to follow.
The arrival of a new nephew gave me the chance to play around with this simple pattern. This is the perfect size for tiny hands, and by adding different texture you can be sure it will be a hit. Print out the little bear pattern and cut out the bear, you won't need the face pieces. Choose your fabric wisely : I opted for a quilting cotton for the body and fuzzy wool for the head. You will also need a bit of embroidery thread, maybe a small piece of knit for a scarf. And of course, if you have a nice label it will add texture, color and a bit of love.
